In south India there are many parties like Telangana Rashtra Samithi,Telugu Desam Party,Janta Dal,Kerla Congress,ADMK or AIDMK.In Tamil Nadu AIDMK and TDP in Andra Pradesh got indentified with M G Ramchandran and NT Ram Rao respectively.In these regions many have become the regional ruling parties like AIDMK.
