The answer to this question can be broken into 3 parts:
Varied climate (1 mark)
Climate of Udupi & Dakshina Kannada (1 mark)
Climate of Mysuru & Mandya (1 mark)
Solution:
The Mysuru Division has varied climate. This is because of the difference in geographical conditions.
The Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts have coastal areas, mountain ranges and dense forests. Thus, the Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts experience a “Rain-based hot climate”. The Udupi district receives the highest rainfall in the Mysuru division.
On the other hand, Mysuru and Mandya experience a dry climate. The Mandya district receives the lowest rainfall in this division.
