Solution:

• The Mysuru Division has varied climate. This is because of the difference in geographical conditions.
• The Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts have coastal areas, mountain ranges and dense forests. Thus, the Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts experience a “Rain-based hot climate”. The Udupi district receives the highest rainfall in the Mysuru division.
• On the other hand, Mysuru and Mandya experience a dry climate. The Mandya district receives the lowest rainfall in this division.
