Solution:

The Mysuru Division is rich in natural resources.
  • The major rivers of this division are Cauvery, Hemavathi, Harangi, Nethravathi, Kumaradhara, Vedavathi, Kapila, Yagachi and Gangoli.
  • Gaganachukki, Bharachukki, Abbe falls, Irupu falls, and Hebbe falls are the major Waterfalls.
  • The major minerals found here are Bauxite, Felsite, Chromite Limestone, Manganese, and Granite.
  • The coastal areas of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada are very famous for its fishing activity. Processed fish is exported from these districts.
The districts of Mysuru Division are home to many tribal communities.
  • Jenukuruba is the biggest tribal community with highest population living in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar.
  • Koragas are the most backward tribes, and are found in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi. The Soliga tribe is found in the Chamarajanagar district.
  • Yarava, Hakkipikki, Halasa, Medara are some other tribes found in this division.
