A free health check-up camp was organised by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and the lions Club Green Valley at Mehuwala village on the outskirts of provisional State capital Dehradun on Sunday. According to the organisers of the camp, doctors conducted the health check-up of 275 patients on the occasion. Free electrocardiogram (ECG) and blood pressure tests were also conducted on the people visiting the camp. The patients were also provided with free medicines, informed the Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital senior public relations officer Bhupender Raturi.
He further informed that the free health check-up camp was organised at the government inter college in Mehuwala. In the camp, medical consultation was provided by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital’s Dr Raj Kumar of medicine department, Dr Swarnika of obstetrics and gynaecology department, Dr Aditya Saun of the paediatric department, Dr Rahul Agarwal of orthopaedics department, Dr Disha Bansal of the dental department, Dr Ajaz-ul-Haq of the ear, nose and throat (ENT) department and Dr Priyanka Gupta of the eye department.
The camp organisers further stated that villagers of Mehuwala, Telpur, Gorakhpur, Harbanswala, Harbajhwala, Baniyawala, Baronwala, Tuntowala and Kailashpur were among those who benefited from the camp.
The president of lions Club Green Valley, RK Goswami, secretary Raman, treasurer Ali Azhar, coordinator Aruna Adhalakha and district coordinator NK Batra were also among those present on the occasion.
