Dear student,
The Monera was divided into Archaebacteria and Eubacteria. They are made of the prokaryotic single cell. The Archaebacteria have simple organization usually spherical, rod, plate, spiral, flat or square in shape. The cell wall of the species of these organisms is made of pseudo-peptidoglycans. In these, introns are present but glycolysis and Kreb's cycle is absent. The Archaebacteria are found in the extreme environment and divided into methanogen, halophiles, and thermophiles.
Ex-Halobacterium, Lokiarchaeum, Thermoproteus
