Avogadro's number is the number of units in one mole of any substance, equal to 6.0221408×1023. The unit may be electrons, atoms,ions or molecules depending upon the nature of the substance and the character of the reaction.
It is the number of atoms in exactly 12 grams of C-12. It is a dimensionless quantity.
