Solution

Deodar, also known as Indian Ceder is a Conical, evergreen, coniferous tree found on the snowy slopes of the western Himalayas, where it has religious significance. Hindus refer to it as the ‘tree of God’. Its spreading branches droop or ‘weep’ at their ends. The leaves are like bright green needles. The bark is dark brown to black in color and the cones are held upright. The deodar also grows well in temperate climates. Its wood is used for timber and it yields a fragrant oil. It can rise upto a height of 200 Ft.
