Write a short note on fuse

Solution
A
fuse
is a device that operates to control or limit to the flow of current.
The
fuse wire
is generally an alloy of lead and tin. It has low melting point so it breaks the circuit when the current exceeds its maximum value.
The thickness of a fuse wire is determined from the maximum amount of current allowed in the circuit.
Usually, it is connected in series in the beginning with the electric circuit.
