Dear student

Indian desert- A large arid region also known as the Thar Desert located in the north western part of India and covers an area of 200000 sq.km. It forms a natural boundary between India and Pakistan. It is the 18th largest desert in the world and covers 60% of the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Coastal PLains- The eastern coastal plains is a vast land stretch lying between Eastern Ghats and the Bay of Bengal. It is wider and leveled than the western coastal plains and stretches from Tamil Nadu to West Bengal to Odhisha to Andhra Pradesh.
