The justice party was a political party formed in the Madras Presidency in 1917 by P. Theagaraya Chetty and T.M. Nair. This party was formed for the non-Brahmins to stand for them in the administration of the state which was approached only by Brahmins in general.The objects of the party were : - To encourage the social, political and economic development of all societies in South India excluding Brahmins.
- To protect the interests all societies except Brahmins and to act for them in the Government.
- To spread their ideas by way of public speeches, sharing of information, etc.
