Land degradation is due to the activities of human hands which loses all the fertility and quality of soil. This is very dangerous to the nature which causes further disasters. All farmers will be suffering due to this problem. Continuous use of land over a long period of time without taking appropriate measure to conserve and manage has resulted in land degradation.

Measures to control land degradation

• Afforestation and proper management of grazing land.
• Control on mining activities.
• Shelting belts are planted for plants.
