Write a short note on problems of ground water in India
India’s groundwater is plagued by a slew of issues, including contamination. Everything stems from over-exploitation.
The situation is exacerbated by the depletion of ancient saltwater encroachment. Groundwater is both a finite resource and a critical component of civilisation.
As a result, some action must be done to protect it against pollution, soil waterlogging, and salinization threats.
