Mass Communication refers to any communication tool that allows​ the transmission of information to many people. The example includes newspapers, television, radio, internet, communication satellites, GPS satellites, and more. ​

• Satellite communication means transporting of information from one place to another using a communication satellite in orbit around the Earth.​
• Satellites have made communication even faster and cheaper than before.​
• Apart from communication, the satellites are also used for oil exploration, forest surveys, finding underground water, exploring mineral wealth, weather forecasts, and disaster warnings.
