Structure of the modern periodic table:
The modern periodic table contains horizontal periods 1 to 7.
Similarly, it has vertical groups 1 to 18.
Atomic numbers are indicated on the upper part of the element. Two rows are separately placed at the bottom of the periodic table.
These are called lanthanide series and actinoid series.
There are 118 boxes in the periodic table.
The whole periodic table is divided into four blocks.
The left side is the s-block, the right side is a p-block, in the middle there is a d-block and the lanthanide series and actinoid series form the f-block.
The first period contains 2 elements.
The s-block contains alkali and alkaline earth metals.
The p-block contains metals, non-metals, and metalloids.
