The Selfish Giant
Once there lived a Giant in the woods next to the highway. He was very selfish and short tempered. He loved to live by himself in the quiet of the jungle. Once he saw some children wander into his territory. This made him furious, and he charged towards them in rage. The children got terrified when they saw him and began running senselessly towards the highway. They ignored the warning sign and ran straight on to the road. Right at that moment, a speeding car came their way and hit one of the children. The children trip thus turned into a tragedy in no time.
