Indian Peninsular plateau is located in the central region of India to the south of northern plains. Indian Peninsular plateau is divided into 3 divisions. like
1. Northeastern plateau, has Karbi Anglong plateau and Shillong plateau which densely covered with forest and mountains.
2. Central Highlands covers Malwa plateau, Aravalli ranges and Chotanagpur plateau which is rich in coal mines and forest resources.
3. Deccan plateau covers eastern and western ghats which is home to many rainwater rivers like which originates in Western and Eastern ghat mountains. and it has a humid climate in coastal regions and a pleasant climate in semi-arid regions in Deccan Plateau.
