1. Oil reserves in Nigeria:Crude oil is found in the Niger delta region.
2. Oil refineries in Nigeria: Four oil refineries have been built in Nigeria, two nat Harcourt port, one at Vari and one at Kaduna city.
3. Ownership of the industry: The industry is mostly in the hands of foreign companies. The government of Nigeria makes very little profit out of it. Due to this, despite being rich in natural resources, Nigeria has not made a significance progress but Nigerian people are slowly building their own industries.
