Occurrence of Hydrogen(H2) :
1. It is the most abundant element in the universe and about 92% of the universe is made of it.
2. However,abundance of H2 is very low in the earth's atmosphere because earth's gravitational pull is too small to hold a very light element like it.
3. Some H2 is found in volcanic eruptions though.
4. In contrast to atmosphere,earth's crust has H as the tenth most abundant element.
5. Earth's crust has 1520 ppm of hydrogen in it.
