Solution
Some challenges are as:
Casteism The discrimination on the basis of Caste and class is a major obstacle for National Integration of India. The caste system has been recognised by the framers of the Constitution. The reservation of seats in the educational institutions on the basis of caste has strengthened the caste affiliations and resulted in the possibilities of new types of inequalities and caste conflict.
Linguism
Indian states have been divided on the basis of language. When Hindi was declared as the national language people of South India fought against this decision and supported the English language. Thus language issue becomes a barrier in the way of national integration.
Regionalism
Each region differs from the other which leads to the disintegration of the country. People of one region compete with the people of other regions which leads to conflict and riots.
Communalism In independent India, the forces of disintegration were found engaged in disturbing communal harmony, encouraging caste wars, nurturing separatism and creating rifts between provinces.
Economic Inequalities Day by day the poor are becoming poorer and the rich become richer this causes tension and conflict. Thus it is resulting in national disintegration.
ā Poverty in India is one of the obstacles for development, in order to over this hurdle good has to create means of employment. Unemployment is also a challenge in India because huge population is still unepmloyed.
