Solution

Dear student,

Terrestrial plants are those kind of plants that grow in, on or from the land. There are four major types of terrestrial plants based on their habitats.
1.Forest- The forests where terrestrial plants are found are called tropical decidous forests.
2.Grasslands- They can be subdivided into temperate and tropical grasslands and include plants like tundra.
3.Deserts- Such areas receive very less rainfall and hence is inhabited by plants such as cacti that have adapted themselves to low water conditions.
4.Mountains- The plants that grow in mountain regions are known as coniferous plants.

Thanks and regards.
