Explain the type of winds
Solution:
The horizontal movement of air is called wind.
Planetary Winds: They blow almost in the same direction throughout the year. Examples: Trade winds, Westerlies, etc.
Seasonal winds: They change their direction according to the season in a year. For example: monsoon wind.
Local winds: The winds that blow over a small area only during a particular time of the day or a short period of a year. Examples: Loo, Chinook, etc.
