Write advantages and disadvantages of a pinhole camera?

A pinhole camera works on the principle of rectilinear propagation of light.

Advantages:

1. No focusing is required for image formation.
2. There is no lens used in the pinhole camera, and the image obtained is free from optical defects like colour distortion.
3. Easy to make.

Disadvantages:

1. The image is obtained on a screen and no permanent record of the image can be maintained.
2. Image formed lacks sharpness and s paint no details can be observed in it.
3. An image of moving object cannot be captured using a pinhole camera it only forms image of stationary objects.
