The arithmetic progression with first term $a$ and common difference given by

i.e. each term is obtained by adding '$d$' to the preceding term.

Here, $a=-1.25$ and $d=-0.25$

So, the arithmetic progression is

$-1.25,-1.25+(-0.25),-1.25+2(-0.25),-1.25+3(-0.25),...$

or $-1.25,-1.50,-1.75,-2,...$
