(i) Centre for Science and Environment, Delhi deals with the national environmental problems and send their suggestion for its remedial steps to the central government.

(ii) Some of the national parks of India such as Corbett National park in Uttar Pradesh, Kanha National Park Madhya Pradesh are for conservation of tigers. The Gir Sanctuary in Gujrat harbors the lion and Kaziranga National Park in Assam are for the protection of the Indian rhinos.

(iii) In India, 66 national parks and 365 sanctuaries have been established for vegetation and wildlife protection.

(iv) Zoological survey of India and Botanical survey of India have made a ten year plan to protect the ecological system.
