1. Concave mirrors are also known as converging mirrors because they converge the lights falling on them at a point. Hence they are used in solar cookers to generate heat for cooking purposes.
2. A concave mirror produces an enlarged and erect image of a face. Hence they are used as shaving mirrors.
3. When an object is placed at the focus point of a concave mirror, it forms an image at infinity. For this reason, it is used in torches, lighthouses, searchlights, etc.
