Solution

The following are evidences in favour of organic evolution.
1. Morphological Evidences.
2. Embryological Evidences.
3. Geographical Evidences.
4. Geological Evidences.
5. Physiological and Biochemical Evidences.

Morphological evidence: The evidences from morphological deviations for a particular structure in different groups of organisms is a good example of organic evolution. The organs which have common origin but may have different function in different group of organism are called homologous organs. For example, fore limbs in horse, man, bat, bird. This proves divergent evolution. The organs which have similar function in different groups of organisms but have different origin are called as analogous organ. For example, wings of bats and wings of insects. This proves convergent evolution.
