Applications of Stoke's law are as follows:
- Rain drop do not acquire alarmingly high velocity during their free fall. If this does not happen a person moving in rain would get hurt.
- While jumping from an airplane, parachute helps us to land safely on the earth.
- It is used to determine the value of charge on an electron. (Millikan’s oil drop method)
