Reasons which created the feeling of nationalism among ordinary people in India after first world war include;
a. The First World War led to forced recruitment of soldiers from villages which created resentment and anger. The war led to huge expenditure in defence which the common people had to bear by paying more taxes.
b. Crop failures and the spread of epidemic created widespread hardships. The ignorance of the government in providing assistance made people more aggressive and provoked in them the feeling of nationalism.
