Write as fraction into the lowest form 0.28 ?

Step 1:Remove the decimal point

As there are two digits after the decimal. So multiply and divide the decimal by 100 to remove decimal.

0.28=0.28×100100=0.28×100100=28100

Step 2: Find the factors of 28 and 100

Factors of 28 are 1,2,4,7,14

Factors of 100 are1,2,4,5,10,20,25,50

Here, 4 is the Greatest Common Factor

So, G.C.F of 28 and 100 is 4

Step 3: Divide both numerator and denominator by their GCF

28100=28÷4100÷4=725

Hence, 0.28 in fraction in its lowest form is 725
