  1. When Ammonia (NH3) gas reacts with Hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas, it forms the salt ammonium chloride (NH4Cl) in gaseous state.
  2. But immediately it gets transformed into the solid state.

  4. NH4Cl is formed from the reaction of NH3, a weak base, and HCl, a strong acid.
