2. Every day our body comes in contact with several pathogens, but only a few result in diseases.
3. The reason is, that our body has the ability to release antibodies against these pathogens and protects the body against diseases.
4. This defense mechanism is called immunity.
5. Immunity is the resistance to the onset of diseases after infection by harmful germs.
6. Immunity can be natural immunity or acquired immunity.
