Spore formation is an asexual mode of reproduction in which one of the cell become specialised and divides further to form more cells, after release these newly formed cells called spores give rise to new individual. They are produced by bacteria, green plants and fungi. This type of reproduction requires less energy and produce similar offsprings identical to their parents.
