1. Take bread with mould growing on it.
2. Prepare a temporary mount by taking a few threads from this mould and placing them on the cover slide.
3. Observe it under the microscope.
Observation:
1. We can see thin, threadlike microorganisms.
2. They are called fungi.
Fungi are neither plants nor animals. They feed on rotten matter and emit foul smell.
