Write down the sequence whose nth term is
(i) 2nn (ii) 3+(1)n3n. How many terms of the sequences are are less than zero?

Let tn=2nn
Put n = 1, 2, 3, 4, ........ we get
t1=21=2
t2=42=2
t3=83
t4=164=4
So the sequence is 2,2,83,4,.......
(ii) Let tn=3+(1)n3n
Put n = 1, 2, 3, 4......
t1=3+(1)3=23
t2=3+(1)2(3)2=49
t3=3+(1)3(3)3=227
t4=3+(1)4(3)4=481
So the sequence is 23,49,227,481,....
