(i) Lower fixed point:
On the Fahrenheit scale, this is the temperature at which pure ice melts i.e ice point. On the Fahrenheit scale, it is 32°F.

ii) Upper fixed point:
On the Fahrenheit scale the upper fixed point is steam point. It is 212°F on the Fahrenheit scale.
