Write down the union of each pair of following sets.
$A = {a, b, c}$ ; $C = {b, d, e}$

Solution

The union of set $A$ and $C$ is the set consisting of all elements which belongs to either $A$ or $C$ or both. It is represented by $A \cup C$ .
Given that $A = {a, b, c}$ and $C = {b, d, e}$
$∴ A \cup C = {a, b, c, d, e}$
