Write down the union of the following pair of sets.
$A = {a, b, c}$ ; $B = {c, d, e}$

Solution

The union of set $A & B$ is the set consisting of all elements which belong to either $A$ or $B$ or both. It is represented by $A \cup B$
Given that $A = {a, b, c}$ and $B = {c, d, e}$
$∴ A \cup B = {a, b, c, d, e}$
