Herbs: These are tender and green-coloured stem plants that are small in size and exhibit very less branching. Examples of herbs - Tomato and Wheat.
Shrubs: These are bigger than the herbs and have harder stems and branches. The example of shrubs - China rose and jasmine.
Trees: These are essentially very tall with much thicker stems compared to shrubs but have branches on the upper part of the plant. The examples of trees - Oak and Banyan
Creepers: These plants have weak and soft stems and they spread upon a solid surface. Examples of creepers - Pumpkin and Watermelon.
