Write each of the following as decimals: 200+60+5+110.

Convert the given fraction to decimal:

  • According to the point shift method if a number is divided by a power of 10,i.e. 10,100,.... then the decimal shift left as many places as there are zeroes.
  • So, by point shift method decimal will shift only one place as 1 is divided by 10 which has only one zero
  • Therefore, 110=0.1and 200+60+5+110=265+0.1265.1

Hence, the required decimal form is 265.1.
