Convert the given fraction to decimal:

• According to the point shift method if a number is divided by a power of $10$,i.e. $10,100,....$ then the decimal shift left as many places as there are zeroes.
• So, by point shift method decimal will shift only one place as $5$ is divided by $10$ which has only one zero
• Therefore, $\frac{5}{10}=0.5$

Hence, the required decimal form is $0.5$.
