(i) 1.5𝑥 + 4.5𝑦 = 2.1
1.5𝑥 + 4.5𝑦 − 2.1 = 0
On comparing with ax + by + c = 0,
a = 1.5, b = 4.5, and c = −2.1

(ii) 𝑥 − 3 = (√2)𝑦
𝑥 − (√2)𝑦 − 3 = 0
On comparing with ax + by + c = 0,
a = 1, b = −√2, and c = −3

(iii) 3𝑥 = 𝑦
3𝑥 − 𝑦 = 0
On comparing with ax + by + c = 0,
a = 3, b = −1, and c = 0
