Solution

The revolt of Songram Sangma in Assam in 1906 and the forest Satyagraha in the Central Provinces in 1930 were two major tribal revolts against the British. . The revolts were a result of the British exploitation which involved deprivation of the tribals of their traditional forest rights. The British declared all forests as state property and put restrictions on tribals from cultivating, hunting or gathering fruits in these areas. The tribals in Assam and the Central Provinces rose in revolt against such laws.
