a.
Crust Core
1. Outermost layer of the earth 1. Innermost layer of the earth
2. It is a thin layer of average thickness ranging from 8-64 km. 2. It has a radius of about 2900 km from the centre of the earth.
3. Major component found in this layer is silica. 3. Major component found in this layer is Iron and Nickel.
4. It is a solid layer. 4. It is a liquid layer consisting of molten metals.

c.
Crust Mantle
1. Outermost layer of the earth 1. It is the layer between crust and core.
2. It is a thin layer of average thickness ranging from 8 - 64km. 2. It extends upto a depth of 2900 kms below the crust.
3.It consists of continental land mass and oceanic beds. 3. It is a thick layer due to the composition of rocks.
4. It is under less pressure and temperature as compare to Mantle 4. It is under more pressure and is hotter than crust.
