The various functions of the skeletal system include:
1. Support: It gives shape to the body.

3. Protection: It protects the internal organs from damage.
4. Calcium storage: The bones are the storehouse of calcium.
5. Blood cell production: Bone marrow present in the bones helps in the production of various cell types like RBCs and WBCs.
