2. It is a deadly virus that causes a life-threatening disease known as AIDS.

OC - Oral contraceptives

1. They are medicines that are taken by women orally to prevent the fertilization of eggs or block the release of eggs.
2. These are basically hormonal-based pills that contain either estrogen or progesterone or a combination of both.
3. They are more commonly known as birth control pills.
4. Example- Ethinylestradiol and norethindrone.
