Question

Write how many lines can be drawn, passing through:

(iv)Three non-collinear points?

Open in App
Solution

Step: Write the number of lines

If three or more points lie on the same straight line, then the points are called collinear points.

In the figure, A, B, and C are three non-collinear points. So, they don’t lie on the same straight line.

Hence, no line can be drawn, passing through three non-collinear points.
