Write in brief, the qualifications of the members of Legislative Councils?

A person should have certain qualifications to be eligible to run for a seat in Legislative Council. He/She must be a citizen of India, at least 30 years old, mentally sound, not insolvent, and on the voters' list of the state for which he or she is contesting an election.
