Gupta literature:
The Gupta period is called the Golden Age of ancient India. Bhasa was an important poet in the early phase of the Gupta period and wrote thirteen plays. The plays produced in India during the Gupta period were all comedies. Women and shudras featuring in these plays use Prakrit whereas the higher classes use Sanskrit.
Buddhist literature:
Tripitaka or Three Baskets is a traditional term used for various Buddhist scriptures. The three pitakas are Sutta Pitaka, Vinaya Pitaka, and Abhidhamma Pitaka. They are the Vinaya or monastic rules, the Sutra or discourses of the Buddha, and the Abhidharma (Pali Abhidhamma ) or scholastic metaphysics.
Gujarati literature:
It may be traced to 1000 AD. The oldest examples of Gujarati literature date from the writings of the 12th-century Jain scholar and saint Hemachandra.
