Dearest Neha,
Hope this letter finds you in good health. I have wanted to write to you since a while now but could not find the time to do so because of my fast approaching exams. Nevertheless, I made some time today.
You will be pleased to know that I won the first prize at the elocution competition in my school. There were eight contestants in all. It was more difficult than what I thought. I spoke on Noise Pollution. You know how strongly I feel on the subject. I highlighted the difference between sound and noise in my speech. In the end, I assume I did a good job, as the judges and the audience applauded for me.
You should also participate in such competitions. It is a great feeling to stand before such a loud crowd and make your opinions heard. Anyway, I have to go now. Do write to me soon. I am eager to hear from you.
Wishing you all the best.
Yours faithfully,
Priya Vare
