Write medicinal uses of the following plants.
(i) Haldi, (ii) Tulsi, (iii) Ginger, (iv) Ashwagandha.

(i) Haldi: It is an underground stem called rhizome which has great medicine value. It is an aromatic stimulant antiseptic in nature so it is used for the treatment of various diseases.
(ii) Tulsi: The plant is known for the production of alkaloids which are used in the treatment of many infections. The extract of leaves is used in the liquid syrups and tonics.
(iii) Ginger: This is a rhizome and the extract is used for the treatment of bacterial infections. The combination of extract and honey is great for the treatment of cough and throat infections.
(iv) Ashwagandha: The extract of the plant roots is effective in the treatment of pain and swelling. Also, the plant roots are beneficial to improve the immune system.
